1. LET'S FOCUS ON OUR STUDENTS & THEIR FINALS: This is the last but one week of the Spring Semester. All teachers will carry out the reviews and exams, complying the Guidance by NWCS Admin. Please help your kids to prepare for them. 本周是本学期倒数第二周，老师们将根据学校教育行政的教学计划，安排学生复习、考试， 请各位家长敦促学生为此做好准备；
2. REGISTRATION WITHOUT FEE: If you register your kids in our Summer Program before June 12th 12:00AM, you can have your registration fee automatically waived. If one can save, why not. Every penny counts, especially when the economy is in bad shape.
Besides，there is no more vacancy if too late.
凡在六月十二日中午前注册我校夏令营的，可享受免注册费的优惠，能节省开支，何乐而不为呢？！再说 了，报晚了，没准因名额有限，就报不上了。

6。Reading Club：本月读书会要阅读和讨论的是当红作家刘震云的畅销长篇小说《手机》。 您或许没有读过这部小说，但您一定像大多数老师家长一样，看过根据小说改编的同名电影，或正在看国内网上热播的同名电视剧。这个选题一定会大受欢迎。何以 见得？从一个例子可见一斑：上周六在学校，有的老师见面和本人打招呼，一改普通话为河南口音了，令人一时费解。原来故事中《有一说一》节目的主持人严守一 的老家是河南，入了迷才会这样。故事有趣才令人着迷不是。有时间的话，您千万不要错过。详见附件。
7。理财讲座在同一时间、地点。 详见附件二。
8。毕业典礼 Graduation Ceremony falls on the June 19th. Please join us with all graduates of 5th、8th、12th graders. To give our students a great chance to cherish their happy time here at NWCS, as well as to embrace their bright future, NWCS has specially rented the NHS Theater for this grand event. Parents and Grand Parents are welcome. Formal dresses are encouraged. More detailed arrangements are to be announced next week. Stay tuned. 一年一度的毕业典礼十九日上午将在本校大剧院隆重举行，将有五年级、八年级、十二年级的一百五十多名学生毕业，欢迎各位家长，爷爷奶奶、外公外婆、兄弟姐 妹都来参加。
9。西北中文学校2010-2011学年关于为低收入 家庭学习中文的学生提供减/免学费的报告和细则已经完成，并上交董事会审议批复。我们认为没有什么比承担社会责任、帮助经济上暂时遇到困难急需帮助的家庭继续送子女 来我校习中文更好、更 恰当的方式来感谢全校家长老师的支持、同学们的努力，回馈社区，同舟共济。详细文件及申请表将在我校网站上公布，请留意。Northwest Chinese School Offers Reduced/Waived Tuition for Chinese Language Classes for Students from Low Income Families For 2010- 2011 Academic Year.
