1．主校正常上课
本周六，十一月二十日主校正常上课，所有课程均按原计划进行。Our classes are back to normal on the main campus, complying fully with our curriculum and teaching plans.
2. NHS Holiday Vendor Fair in the Common Area
刚刚接到通知，平时家长们看书、看电脑、下棋、聊天、听讲座的大厅（Lobby, Common Area）,周六从上午8点到下午5点有NHS 组织的节日营销活动，恐怕广大家长要么去shopping,要么回家再来，要么在楼道里委屈一下了。呆在外面、呆在车里都不是好主意，弄不好会感冒的。
NHS Grad Knight 2011 class is having a “Holiday Vendor Fair” in the commons this Saturday November 20th from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The fair will be opening at 10:00 AM to the public. All NWCS parents are welcome to shop at the Fair. Please be aware that our parents will have to use the end of the commons closest to the classrooms. Please also be advised that staying either outside the main building or inside the car is not recommended. Be careful when the weather is chilly and windy.
3．书画展品注意事项 Painting and Calligraphy Gallery—a reminder
学生的汉字书写作品，一律用我校教学中使用的标准方格纸（可从我校网上下载，可到校长办公桌上索取）。尽管书写内容不限，但通篇不能只重复写一个或几个相同的字。绘画作品不用装在镜框里，也不用裱，只交作品即可，美术老师将在布展时根据需要做统一安排。本展获奖作品将代表我校参加Sammamish学区的文化节。
All students’ writing must be done on the standard writing practice sheets. There is no restriction on the content, yet, some restrictions apply：one can’t write only one or few characters repeatedly from the beginning to the end. As for the paintings, it is not necessary to either frame it or paste it to a hard-board. Our art teachers will arrange them properly as necessary. All price-winners will be shown at Sammamish Art Festival, representing NWCS.
4．主校分校教师听课活动安排已定
主校分校部分教师互相听课活动安排已定，请接到通知的老师留意。互相学习、取长补短、共同进步是我们提高教学质量的有效手段之一。
5. 乒乓球TABLE TENNIS CLASS
名师出高徒。因为原国家队的范毅勇来我校执教，报名踊跃。但因场地的原因，上课地点有可能有时在NHS, 有时在WASHINGTON TABLE TENNIS CLUB。必须说明的是：所有修这门课的学生，无论是教职员工的孩子与否，一律按统一学费（$240/semester）收费。Our tuition waiver policy does not apply to this Table Tennis class due to its unique characteristics, complying with our out-of-campus activity policy.
6. 如何准备College Funding讲座
a. 美国大学学费状况; b. 如何提高学生的竞争力，拿到全额奖学金？c. 如何准备奖学金申请面试？d. Education Savings有哪些方式？e. 如何申请Financial Aid (助学金) ？
时间：November 20th, 9:20am - 10:30am; 地点详见大厅通知。
7．人到中年---热门话题：听听学者是怎么分析的MIDLIFE CRISIS---A HOT TOPIC: WHAT ARE THE COMMENTS OF A SCHOLAR
由郭平主讲的我校读书会已经远近闻名，家喻户晓。无论是《山楂树之恋》、《手机》、还是《毛泽东与朱元璋》都因分析独特，见解深刻而大受欢迎。相信许多家长教师同样会对《人到中年》这个话题感兴趣。时间地点详见海报。
8．温馨提醒
