On behalf of Northwest Chinese School Administration Team, I would like first of all to extend my sincere thanks to all of you for your great and consistent support during the past academic school year.
我谨代表西北中文学校行政管理团队并以我个人的名义向各位家长致以由衷地感谢，谢谢你们在即将过去的学年里对我校教学工作的大力支持；
Second：NWCS Admin cordially invited you all to join us in the following great events:
（一）滕胜毅牙科医生优秀作文奖发奖仪式：（9：30am), NHS Theater.
Dr Teng's Orthodontics Smile Prize-winners recognition ceremony here at NHS Theater starts at 9:30am;
(二）毕业典礼 Graduation Ceremony begins immediately after Teng's Recognition Ceremony in NHS Theater. Please join all graduates of 5th、8th、12th graders for their great moments---Certificates, gifts, prizes and more...... to give our students a great chance to cherish their happy time here at NWCS, as well as to embrace their bright future. Graduation is one of the few events people usually do not miss, for if they did, they regret. Parents and Grand Parents are welcome. Formal dresses are encouraged. 一年一度的毕业典礼十九日上午将在本校大剧院隆重举行，将有五年级、八年级、十二年级的一百五十多名学生毕业，颁发毕业证书、各类奖品、纪念品、合影留念等等，精彩纷呈。千万不要错过。欢迎各位家长，爷爷奶奶、外公外婆、兄弟姐妹、挚爱亲朋都来参加。
（三）由PTA主办，BOARD & ADMIN 协办的APPRECIATION PARTY STARTS AT 3:00PM IN SAMMANMISH STATE PARK. FOR DETAILS AND DIRECTIONS, PLEASE REFER TO PTA'S E-MAIL.
Third: 五月十六日，在李淑芬、李宁、池红等老师的带领下，西北中文学校中文初、高中的部分学生参加了CE Scholastic Competition For Chinese Language Learners and Friends知识竞赛，并在集体和个人项目上双双取得好成绩，除了上两周表扬公布的同学外， 还有如下同学成绩优异：
赵新元(8E): 初中组演讲比赛第一名.
赵新昊(6E): 初中组听力问答第三名
集体项目: 赵新元, 张沐溢, 赵新昊: 初中组中文知识竞赛及抢答赛 (Knowledge Bowl)第二名。
Fourth: 为七年级及以上学生编写《西北中文学校课外经典选读》一书的选稿工作在编辑委员会全体成员的共同努力下业已完成：陈文茹、韩一虹、冷 静、孙梅茹、杨 欢、叶 杨、赵 铮等兢兢业业，特此通报表彰；同时，谢谢广大家长的关心、支持。后续工作将按计划展开。
Fifth: 西北中文学校 2010-2011学年关于为低收入家庭学习中文的学生提供减/免学费的报告和细则已经完成，并上交董事会审议批复。我们认为没有什么比承担社会责任、帮助经济上暂时遇到困难急需帮助的家庭继续送子女来我校习中文更好、更恰当的方式来感谢全校家长老师的支持、同学们的努力，回馈社区，同舟共济。详细文件及申请表将在我校网站上公布，请留意。Northwest Chinese School Offers Reduced/Waived Tuition for Chinese Language Classes for Students from Low Income Families For 2010- 2011 Academic Year.
