各位家长、各位老师；
亲爱的同学们；
大家好！
1．谢谢大家为我校的春节演出加班加点YOUR EFFORTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED
相信大家在轻松、亲切、愉快和充实的气氛中度过了长达两周的节日假期。据我们了解，许多家长、老师和学生尽可能多地利用这段假期排练节目，为我校的“春晚”而勤学苦练。谢谢！
We believe that every one of us have had a wonderful, relaxing, rich and meaningful holiday vacation. I knew some of our students, teachers and parents were busy practicing and preparing for the performance of the Year of the Dragon. We really appreciate what you have done for it.
2. 帮助学生收心回到课堂学习上来 CONCENTRATING ON CLASSROOM STUDIES
时间过得好快，不知不觉间这个学期已经过了大半，请大家把心收回了，把精力集中在我们课堂的教与学上，以期保质保量地完成我们的教学计划。
Time flies. It is so fast that we suddenly realized that only few weeks left for this semester. Please, after holiday breaks, help our students get their mind off play and guide them to concentrate on classroom studies in order to satisfactorily fulfill the teaching task defined by our syllabus.
3．集体照相 PICTURE TAKING OPPORTUNITY
为了彰显我校丰富多彩的校园生活，记录我们同学童年的成长瞬间，同时，也配合节目单制作，我校PTA特别邀请了摄像师RANDOMLY到不同年龄段的班上照相，鉴于我校的规模，一方面，在极为短促的时间内不可能涵盖所有的师生和班级；另一方面，希望有意组织本班照合影的班主任老师事先计划安排，通知自己的学生和家长，既不耽误多少上课时间，又能较迅速地一合即拍。总之，是大家随意而不是任务，有意者请同时告知ADMIN。
To reflect the rich, colorful and memorable school life at NWCS, PTA generously invites professional photographer to take classroom pictures by his random choice of classes of different age groups. Some of the pictures might be printed on the 2012 CNY brochure. Large as such, it is impossible for NWCS to cover all classes, but some at a time. Please plan ahead and notify your students/parents, and ADMIN (on a first-come, first-served basis)as well if your class wants to have one this time. Dress up, preferable; leisure style yet neat and clean, required; simple with unique style, encouraged. Our guiding principle is: preparing ahead, quick posing, and not taking much time from the class.
4. 中华文化图书大展 BOOKSHOW AT NWCS COMING SOON
为了满足我校师生家长阅读的需要，培养我校读书求知的学术氛围，我校特约中国科学出版集团美国公司于今年二月十一日和二月十八日（上午九点至下午二点）在我校主校大厅举行中华文化图书大展，详细内容将刊登在即将出版的我校文艺演出的节目单上。敬请关注。去年的书展时大家购买阅读图书的场景历历在目。作为教育工作者，我们的天职除了正常的课堂教学之外，就是为学生们幼小而纯洁的心灵创造一个浓郁的书香环境—深至文史哲、数理化，浅到科普、寓言、童话。以童话为例，童话令儿童喜爱原因在故事情节；其令成年人也爱不释手的缘故却在于故事背后所揭示的哲理。虽然不是每一则童话都会感动所有的成年人，但是，许多童话是写给孩子来看，写给成人去想的。童话如同镜子，照出了我们每一个成年人各自身上业已习以为常的自我；童话也如同镜子，折射出那些童心尚在的成年人的情感世界。岁月可以流失，永存的当是那童心和童心未泯之人的灵魂。大家越来越爱西北这个大集体，这大概是原因之一吧。
