1. ONLINE REGISTRATION
Our online registration is still open and remains open until 12:30pm September 11th, 2010. For parents who have not yet registered their kids, please do it as soon as possible, otherwise, you have to come to Admin Desk early in the morning on Saturday, September 11th. Please be prepared that it might to take longer time for the registration and payment all at once.
网上注册很快就要截止，没有注册的家长，请抓紧时间，不然，就要等到周六上课前注册交费，匆忙而费时，不如，早在开课之前把该办的事办完，从容不迫。
2. TUITION PAYMENT DUE ON THE FIRST DATE
Those who have registered their kids either online or by mail, but not yet pay the tuition, please come to school with your check book. Please make it payable to NWCS. Thank you for your cooperation. 网上已注册，或是通过邮寄方式已经注册但尚未交纳学费的家长， 请周六来学校时，务必带上支票本。谢谢合作！
3. Class size will remain Standard
We have been noticed that the OPEN HOUSE last Saturday was a busy one, yet well-organized one. Judging from the crowded scene, our total enrollment may outnumber that of last academic year to set a new record. Therefore, we appreciate the patronage from all of NWCS members, old and new. We, at the same time, also noticed that some parents may worry that the class will be oversized with more students being packed there. Please do not worry. The school Admin promises that all our class size will remain standard. If the same class is outnumbered, we will divide it into two instead. At least eight new teachers have been hired to meet the need of enlargement. OPEN HOUSE时, 许多家长目睹了报名现场熙熙攘攘，因而打电话给校长，询问报名录取学生人数大增，班上学生数量增多，会不会因此影响教学质量。请各位新、老家长放心， 我们会严格地控制每个班的学生人数在标准人数之内，同一个班，如学生数超标，我们就将其一分为二。为此，我校主校本学年又荣幸地聘请到陆琼、朱晨、黄侃、王晓磊、李金英、袁采凤、王睿华、和SHU-YAN JOHNSON 等八位老师加盟。
4. FREE STUDENTS CONFERENCE-TEDxRedmond
I am excited today to let you know about an amazing opportunity for our NWCS students—TEDxRedmond. A free, inspirational event organized by students, for students, it brings some of the most extraordinary youth from Washington State and the nation to share insights, knowledge, and "ideas worth spreading" with their peers.

What: Free conference—by and for youth under 18 who have done great things. 本月十八日下午一点在微软会议中心，以介绍神童邹奇奇（Adora Svitak）学习、成长、进步为主题的教育大会，会议的特点是由同龄学生组织、同龄学生参加、讲述交流同龄人成长进步的经历。勿失良机。详情请参见给西北中文学校家长和学生的邀请函和海报。

5. SAFETY FIRST, PLEASE DRESS NEAT, PLEASE KEEP QUIET
School admin reminds you all, teachers, parents and students, especially new and younger students. Please pay close attention to safety, commute safety, classroom safety, and campus safety. Please follow the rule and regulations of classroom maintenance of Newport High. No food, no drink inside classroom. Keep quiet while classes are in session. Please pay attention to weather change to prevent them from catching cold.
学校行政管理团队敦请各位家长，各位教师，及全体学生注意安全，尤其是年幼的低年级学童的交通安全、教室室内安全和校园内的安全。遵守教室管理条例，保持教学楼内的安静。穿着整洁，并注意气候的变化，预防感冒。
6. NWCS has the policy that only 2 parents are allowed to seat in the classroom while the class is in session. Your cooperation and consideration are highly appreciated. The teacher is the host of the classroom, no abuse of any kind is allowed, even if s/he is your child.
西北中文学校规定：上课期间最多两位家长可坐在教室后面旁听，任课老师是班上的主人。不允许任何家长以任何方式当众训斥学生，即便该学生是您的子女。敬请配合。
